Emerson Jane
Sweet Emerson is one today! Happy Birthday! She wasn't feeling her best when we took these, but after a little mom time and Tylenol she gave us the goods on the very last shot, when all the pretty light was gone. Good thing she is absolutely darling when unhappy! Happy Birthday little one!

A little while ago I got to shoot the lovelies who started Just Cook Already since they were being featured in Latter Day Woman online magazine. The Jenna's are so much fun to work with, and little miss Goldie as you can see is just about the cutest thing ever! If you haven't been to Just Cook Already, go now and enjoy the bounty of recipes!

The Versitle Blogger
Thanks to Jamie over at the CP blog for giving me The Versatile Blogger Award! It being award season and all I feel it highly appropriate for me to thank a few people. Thank you people of Google for making it so darn easy to find an obscure image. Thank you people of people of Photoshop for creating Bridge it really is the best software EVER. Thank you weird photo uploader that puts my photos up crooked leading to many nights cursing and flailing my arms at the computer. And thank you internet for providing blogs, a new way to keep tabs on tons of people you don't know.
This award also requires me to share some things about myself that I am sure you have all been dying to know. So here you are-peer into my soul.
1. Why did you create this blog? To document sweet trips with my hubby and friends. But it has changed oh so many times.
2. What kind of blogs do you follow? Photography, Food, Styling, Humor, and the occasional mommy blog, don't judge me you know you do it too.
3. What is your favorite Make-Up Brand? Dior

iphone photos
I am constantly stealing Mr. Reece's iphone to take pic's when I don't have my camera handy. But I almost always forget to download them afterward, so these are some gems from quite awhile ago.
From the top: Hudson whissing at church, that is what he calls sweeping or vacuuming, whissing. A quick trip to Idaho. Walking home from Seven Peaks. Summer lawn & Flying Pie Pizzeria (thanks Man V. Food.) Nickle City, otherwise known as hell on earth. My aunt and uncles beautiful view and their beautiful grandchildren and horses. Tasha's insanely good grilled anaheim chilies with queso. Luke, Chloe and a Sunday nap. All taken with the cross process app for iphone.

Rootbeer
My grandparents homemade root beer is the best part of summer. They used to start making it in May until September and it was involved in all my best childhood memories. It is an old pioneer recipe involving hops, yeast, sugar, root beer extract, one ancient Gott cooler, water, a little elbow grease and a bottle capper. People either love it or they hate it but we will always make you try it at least once.
