Our Christmas card

Ah, another year of not sending out my Christmas card. Let's just say I am trying to be environmentally conscious and save a tree or two by not printing these out. And by environmentally conscious I mean I'm tired, burnt out and haven't even started Christmas shopping yet so I am giving myself one less thing to do before Saturday. Merry Christmas to me.

So here's hoping you have a very Merry Christmas (try not to be too sad that you don't get to hang this card on your mantel, next year I swear!) And have a happy, happy new year! See you in 2011!

Alice Lane Blogger Event

I love working with the lovelies at Alice Lane, last time was so much fun and this time was no different. Photographing a bunch of bloggers talking about everything from widow treatments to trashy T.V. is always good times! And spending an evening surrounded by the beautiful home decor was a huge plus. If you haven't been to Alice Lane, run don't walk.

A huge thank you to the ladies of Alice Lane, it is always such a pleasure to work with you!

Whitney's Bridals

A huge thank you to Heather Telford for letting me second shoot Whitey's bridals! We spent a very sucessfull rainy afternoon at the Springville Art Museum trying to keep the bride from the elements and the photos looking like a lovely summer afternoon. I am so stoked to get to second shoot for her again for Whitney's wedding this Thursday. See Whitney's photos by  Heather here.

The Telford Family

Heather Telford is one of the nicest girls I know. So it has been so great to get to work with her again! I met Heather several years ago while working at Sundance, she was a waitress and I was a lowly busser. A few years later we ran into each other at a bridal fair (when we both tried our hand at the wedding floral industry and left it) and thanks to a mutual friend we have stayed in touch over the years.

These days Heather is a successful Utah wedding and family portrait photographer and I was lucky enough to take her family photos. It was such a fun morning running after her darling boys and spending time with Heather and her husband Jeff.

Heather has been kind enough to let me tag along and second shoot for some of her bridals (which you will see later today) and I get to do it again at the wedding later this week.

Rifle Christmas Cards

Since I will probably fail at sending Christmas cards this year, why don't I just show you the ones I would send out were I Miss Merry Christmas and on the ball.

Rifle Paper Co. never ceases to amaze, and this Christmas line is no exception. They are just so delightfully simple and classic. One of these Christmases I will spring for custom cards that they offer and do my very best to actually send them out.
