go green

Meet Kristen Elisabeth Green, she is marvelous, funny and a scholar to boot. Kristen and I have been amigas since we could walk, and she recently was good enough to be my guinea pig for a photo assignment. She will be departing for London in September as she has been accepted to Kings College. I guess I will just have to go and visit!

Reunited and it feels so good

Being the foodie that I am, I don't know why it has been so long since I have been to the Pizzaria 712. But last nights meal was like reuniting with that long lost friend who knows, loves and feeds you! These guys just keep getting better and better. If you haven't been in a while (or even a few days) go visit the P712 you will be glad you did. photo by Nicole Hill

Looking on the brightside

Time Magazine has chosen to look on the bright side of this disaster of an economy we're in.

10 things you can like about $4 gas
1. Globalized jobs return home
2. Urban Sprawl stalls
3. Some companies are going to a 4 day work week
4. Less Pollution
5. More Frugality
6. Fewer traffic deaths, people are slowing down to save gas.
7. Cheaper Insurace
8. Less Traffic
9. More cops on the beat
10. Less obesity

Thanks Time, I'll try to remember that while I am weeping at the pump.

Eli & Aveda

I love Aveda and I love Eli! I love Eli for showing me the goodness of Aveda. This tourmaline face care line is dreamy. Check it out here.
