weddings & retirement

While spending a Friday afternoon arranging flowers, I thought I better document the experience as it may be our last. As I was running back and forth between bouquets and Hudson, and Allison was having contractions and extracting her sons arm from toys and toilets our conversation naturally turned toward retirement. Can you blame us?

We have had a great run. We have loved being a part of peoples special day but it's time to say goodbye. At least until we can use our children as indentured servants and make some serious money.

I, too, am sorry you have to say goodbye to your business because, what great talent! Beautiful arrangements!

I'm so sad to hear you are retiring. I guess we'll still have your photography to look forward to!

Yes Allison, we can retire for real (but you'll notice that I left a clause in which we could return : ))

The flowers you did were (and still are) my favorite part of my wedding!
