weddings & retirement
While spending a Friday afternoon arranging flowers, I thought I better document the experience as it may be our last. As I was running back and forth between bouquets and Hudson, and Allison was having contractions and extracting her sons arm from toys and toilets our conversation naturally turned toward retirement. Can you blame us?
We have had a great run. We have loved being a part of peoples special day but it's time to say goodbye. At least until we can use our children as indentured servants and make some serious money.

a few ways to help
I have a million reasons to be grateful. And so I have been looking for ways to help. I thought I share a few of the ways I found to help out!
Go to itunes and purchase Hope For Haiti Now the album. 100% of the proceeds go to The Red Cross, Unicef and Oxfam America to name a few.
Headbands for Haiti from the lovely Naomi. Purchase one of her headbands from her shop and 100% of the proceeds go to Haiti.
My friend Jenna's friends are gathering supplies to take with them to Haiti. Check out her blog to see how donate powdered baby formula, Costco (bulk) advil (ibuprofen), Costco (bulk) tylenol (acetaminophen), Children's vitamins and Prenatal vitamins.

liza's bridals
A big thanks to Liza who trusted me to take her bridals (my first bridal shoot ever.) And to Allison who came and made sure everything worked great. To Steve who provided the amazing location, the house was to die for! Congratulations Liza!

heart sick
Oh Your Heart Out, I wish you wouldn't leave. I start my day with you guys and now where will I begin? How will I ever remember when the Behive Bazzar is? Or where the newest and best place to eat is, or all the great info on all things Utah? Not to mention your plethora of great links. *sigh* I suppose all good things come to an end. Thanks for all the good info YHO, you will be missed.

gratitude
Today while I went about my daily meandering online I went to one of my favorite blogs The Coterie. I learned that her nephew is in critical condition due to an unusual combination of RSV and Purtussis. Coincidentally my son will be vaccinated for both of these terrible diseases tomorrow. I feel such an overwhelming sense of gratitude for a healthy child and at the same time an incredible amount of empathy for someone I don't know.
I also feel very hopeful for her, we live in such a time where medicine is advanced and there are so many more options for treatment. I feel hopefull for her because she is clearly such a strong and faithful woman. Please go have a look at Natalie Nortons blog and keep her son and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
