love

Photobucket
We love this little guy, I am not sure what we did for entertainment before he was born. Now we just stare at him all the time! Hudson is quite the nocturnal creature (any advice on how to make him sleep through the night from you mom's would be more than welcome.) It's been hard to get some pictures of him awake. I am so glad he finally decided to ham it up for the camera!

Read "On becomming BABYWISE." It saved my life:) I am serious though. And now Max sleeps 12-14 hours a night.

Cry it out baby. I think they suggest waiting until at least 3 months though..maybe even older... It took me longer, I wasn't ready. In the mean time enjoy your special night time moments together.

Babies are supposed to wake up every 3-4 hours to eat. I cherish the middle of the night hours when Aislin was bright eyed. It was just her and I and it was awesome.

What a dreamboat! Seriously, so darling. (I have no sleep advice for you, except that we still swaddle Charlie at 8 months old. But he doesn't sleep through the night yet.)

Since I haven't seen Hudson in 10+ days, I come to your blod every day (sometimes 2-3 times a day) so that I can see this beautiful boy. I checked late last night and thes wonderful photos weren't there but now they are. They make me smile greatly, so much so that I called a friend and colleague in to my office to share the joy. Now we both have big smiles thanks to Hudson. I hope to hold no later than tomorrow!

Oh my, how cute is he?
I recommend "Babywise" too. It isn't perfect, but I like their general philosophy and schedule advice: "eat, play, sleep. Repeat." I have a copy if you want to borrow it.

Babywise!!! Amazing! Also, let them know it's day and they play and cut naps a little shorter and routines at night help them sleep longer

oh my goodness!!! these pictures are to DIE for...good work!!--as for the sleeping thing...ellie was all turned around for a while- sleeping all day and wanting to play at night, so just trying to keep her awake as much as we could during the day helped her sleep longer at night. but it took a while!- he is adorable, i am so happy for you:)

ohhhhhhhh man. he is cute. that smile is adorable.
ellie was a nocturnal creature too. i wanted to poke my tired eyes out. some many people gave me SO much advice with tips and tricks. none of it worked. she just snapped out of it one day. around six weeks. like a switch was flipped, all the sudden she just understood: sleep at night, play during the day.
time goes so fast, snuggle snuggle.

Oh my, he is darling!! Congratulations, Meikel. I am so happy for you. We recently had an addition as well. She was born August 3rd and weighed 5 pounds. We named her Kaia. I keep looking at Hudson, thinking they must be about the same age--but, nope, he just weighed twice as much when he was born so they're about the same size! Miss you!
