i don't think it was root beer, i think it was some sort of grape soda that your grandparents made...anyway you and i snuck a couple of bottles and started drinking them and realized they tasted really funny. i think we showed your mom and she told us they had fermented, and that made them slightly alcoholic. we were both appalled and thrilled at the same time.
i want some home made root beer!
