Our little Hudson has been so much fun to take pictures of that I just about crashed our computer with all the photos. Good thing Santa brought me an external hard drive.

He is the sweetest baby, his personality is really starting to show. He loves to smile and has recently figured out how to move all his limbs at once, which he does all the time and always looks so proud of himself each time he accomplishes this feat.

I was so excited to get this crying picture (is that wrong?) He just looks so cute when he does cry, which bless him is not very often. We are totally spoiled and loving every minute with this little guy!

Christmas Eve

at my aunt & uncles is always filled with wonderful food and family. In fact the food was so good I could not be bothered to stop eating to take pictures, yeah it's that good!

Hudson thoroughly enjoyed

his very first Christmas. He got his very first ornament, a very cute (and educational) elephant and most importantly a wipe warmer for his adorable derriere. His cousin Samantha got a Jonas brothers blanket (which is the gift that keeps on giving btw) that I was immediately smitten with and wished I had remembered to put on my wish list. Oh well, next year.

Our Christmas was filled
with great people and food. We are overjoyed to have our little Hudson in our lives. Luke and I feel so blessed to have a healthy child, a loving family and wonderful friends. We are particularly grateful for our Savior this time of year and a loving father in heaven. Happy New Year!

You know those people in your life that you just love to be around and yet you hardly ever get to spend any time with? Dear Cliffords you are those people! They were kind enough to make the trek down from Salt Lake to come meet Hudson and bring us some delicious dinner! Guys let's have a new years resolution to see each other more than biannually. Thanks for coming to see us!

This is really what life is about isn't it? I just could not be happier (who knew you could be completely content while utterly exhausted?!) Yes life is just about perfect, aside from my Christmas shopping being far from done, my stacks of papers and magazines piling up to record heights, my baby weight far from being gone and the expired registration on my car. But that stuff will just have to wait. I am completely in love with these two and perfectly content to spend every spare moment with them!

I have literally thousands of pictures to go through and edit, I cannot wait to share them! I need an assistant or something. Any takers? No? Well, Stay tuned . . .

advent

For most people the countdown to Christmas begins December 1st. For my husband it's starts around July 5th and I have to plead with him to wait at least until November to start listening to Christmas music.

So for the rest of us, Mibo has these adorable and most importantly free advent calendars to start your countdown to Christmas. You do have to print them out and construct them yourself, (which I will probably never get around to, but one can dream.) But it doesn't seem to be to difficult. enjoy.

We love this little guy, I am not sure what we did for entertainment before he was born. Now we just stare at him all the time! Hudson is quite the nocturnal creature (any advice on how to make him sleep through the night from you mom's would be more than welcome.) It's been hard to get some pictures of him awake. I am so glad he finally decided to ham it up for the camera!
