What happens when you eat at your very favorite pizza place at least three times a week ordering your  fussy vegetarian version of their delicious pizza? (Besides gaining a few pounds.) You get your usual named after you of course!

Thanks to my vegetarianism and my ridiculous ordering habits, the Meikel was born!

The Meikel is their to-die-for Thai Chicken Pizza minus the chicken add pineapple. It's so amazingly good (and truly their entire menu is perfection)  I would imagine that it would be equally delicious for you carnivores if you left the meat on!

I am so thrilled to have such a scrumptious pie named after me, after all this is the highest honor for a foodie! This must be what it feels like to have a building named after you. Thanks Slab!

P.S. This is kind of what it is like when I order, but don't worry I tip REALLY well!

Nothing excites me more that great prints and that is what persimmon&pink is all about. Now if only they had popcorn popping, please bless that . . . and possibly something about prayers for moisture.

Congratulations to my sister-in-law Megann and my new brother-in-law Marc! Their wedding Saturday could not have gone any better, it was a beautiful day,ceremony, reception and we had so much fun. Thanks to this blessed event I am a proud owner of a Fuji Instax Mini camera and it really is the best thing to happen to instant film. I got to run around all day with this thing snapping pictures like a crazy person. I was in heaven.

And so our dear ones are off to start their new lives together in Arizona, and we wish them the very best! We are so thriled Marc and his three beautiful children are a part of our family! Mazel tov!

These two great people are getting married this Saturday, the same Saturday as my sister-in-law, and so unfornutately we cannot be in two places at once.

So dear Sanchezes we will miss your wedding, but we will be there in spirit and wish you such a splendid day!

the best decision
