I am so excited for anything that Tim Burton does, but this one looks particularly tremendous! I love these photos for the movie, the deep colors are amazing. I wish I could have found the photographer's name who is responsible for these great images, but you need to check out more about here. Thanks to Heather over at The Coterie for posting about this!

a lesson in amazing
I would give my right arm to attend this workshop (too bad they only accept major credit cards.) The Lyons are some tremendous photographers whose work is sublime. If you haven't seen their work check them out here. And of course if anyone wants to sponsor a little wanna-be photographer I also accept all major credit cards ; )

Tiek Built Homes
Our friends Steve & Allison Tiek remodel, consult, build and construct dream homes, and they are amazing at it! I had the opportunity this morning to photograph this beautiful kitchen that Steve (founder and owner of TBH) had recently remodeled into this stunning kitchen. I wanted to throw down my camera and start cooking away! For your very own dream home here is their contact info:
(801)234-0445 or email tiekbuilthomes@gmail.com for a free consultation and estimate. They would love to discuss ideas with you on how you can improve the feel, look and value of your home! And check out their blog here.

native
While at work today, this amazing conversation took place.
Lady: Are you native?
Me: (a little confused) to this area, yes.
Lady: No, Native American.
Me: Oh, no I'm not.
Lady: Well what else could you possibly be?
Me: Actually I am half Polynesian.
Lady: Well what are you doing up here in the mountains?

Rooster Dumpling & Noodle Bar
Three words, go there immediately. Such great food, the nicest people and it's good looking (albeit small) restaurant to boot. Everything was delicious, the dumplings were scrumptious and the french toast at the end was exquisite. Thanks YHO for the recommendation, Mr. Reece and I have a new favorite place!
My apologies for the grainy pics, of course I didn't have my camera with me so the iphone will have to do for now.

The Tin Angel Cafe
Mr. Reece and I had a rare day off together, and since he had been my step-n-fetch-it setting up the wedding (see post below) I thought a nice lunch together was in order. We decided to go to The Tin Angel Cafe, a wise decision.
Tin Angel is absolutely delicious and everything on the menu can be made vegetarian or vegan. Mr. Reece had the Cuban pannini and I had the portabello sandwich on bread that was heavenly, but the real show stealer was the clementine, espresso and marscapone bread pudding, perfection.
Check them out here.
Amanda & Steven's Wedding
Allison and I (otherwise known as Notting Gate Floral) had the opportunity to do the flowers for that adorable girl (Mrs. Amanda Stewart) you see pictured above. Amanda & Steven are such a lovely couple with a great family and we had a great time! I can't wait to see the photos from the photographer since for some reason I forgot to photograph the bouquet.
